Emma Watson Cast as Belle

After months (years?!) of rumors and speculation both Emma Watson and Disney have confirmed that Watson has been cast to play Belle in an upcoming live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.

Disney has enjoyed success with recent big screen hits Maleficent and Cinderella and this news that another classic fairytale will be given new life is exciting for Disney and musical fans alike. The fact that Watson was chosen to breathe life into this beloved princess is icing on the cake.

Watson is no stranger to the task of portraying established characters, having stolen hearts as Hermione Granger, another often misunderstood lover of books, in the Harry Potter franchise. If her past success is any indication there is no doubt that this new challenge is one she can rise to meet.

Production will begin later this year but, as of this writing, no release date has been announced. You can be sure that Disney fans- including this one- will be anxiously waiting!

More Limited Edition Magic Bands Released

Walt Disney to Release New Limited Edition Magic Bands

Walt Disney World guests have been seeing the roll out of designed magic bands instead of the classic colors. They have released special edition bands for events, holidays, movie release and more. This January will be no different as Disney will release a few more designs and additional Magic Bandits. Some are Limited Edition and some are just special designs that have no limited number.

These bands will be sold at $19.95 plus tax.

Ariel will be released on January 16th

Cinderella Castle will be released on January 16th
Belle  will be released on January 23rd
Tinker Bell will be released on January 30th
Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear – January 30th

Thanksgiving Day Hats

It is important to wear your Thanksgiving hat or crown to the table during your feast. So to help out with that we are going to point you in the right direction.  First you and your little one need to know how many children will be attending the feast so you know how many to make. Then you are going to head over to http://family.disney.com/thanksgiving

Then you will have three choices: Mickey's Pilgrim  Hat, Goofy's Pilgrim Hat or Belle's Thankgiving Day Crown.  Choose how many of each and let your little one get to work. They all take a minimal amount of work. When you are finished put them in a safe place until feast time.
