More Limited Edition Magic Bands Released

Walt Disney to Release New Limited Edition Magic Bands

Walt Disney World guests have been seeing the roll out of designed magic bands instead of the classic colors. They have released special edition bands for events, holidays, movie release and more. This January will be no different as Disney will release a few more designs and additional Magic Bandits. Some are Limited Edition and some are just special designs that have no limited number.

These bands will be sold at $19.95 plus tax.
Ariel will be released on January 16th
Cinderella Castle will be released on January 16th
Belle  will be released on January 23rd
Tinker Bell will be released on January 30th
Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear – January 30th

Will you be selecting one of these? If so which one are you most looking forward into getting? I haven't bought any special ones yet but I know have my eye on Tinkerbell. What character or attraction are you waiting to have on your magic band?

A new Frozen limited edition MagicBand is going to be released at Hollywood Studios on November 3rd.
This new band will be a Limited Edition of 5000, which is the same print run as the Olaf “In Summer” band and will come in a decorative box. It will make new lights and sounds at Fastpass+  touchpoints, but only in Hollywood Studios.  Price:  $29.95.

What is Your "Disney Moment"?

What is a Disney Moment? I'm going to channel my inner Disney therapist and try to explain it. This isn't based on any kind of professional training or education, just a few trips to Disney World.
Disney Moment: A Disney Moment is the moment you realize you are IN Disney. All the worries and cares leave you, and the outside world does not exist. Cell phones are only used for attraction line apps, the World is at your fingertips with Magic Band, and it's OK to wear Mickey Ears.
Your Disney Moment can be anything. Smells, Sights, Sounds. Something that clicks inside and you know you have arrived. For many of us, arriving at a place we call "home".

So What is Your Disney Moment?

  • Boarding the Magical Express?
  • Getting your Magic Bands?
  • Driving under that iconic Walt Disney World sign?
  • Walking down Main Street U.S.A?
  • A Favorite Ride?
  • A Favorite Food?
  • Seeing that certain character?
  • Making a purchase at the gift shoppes?

This is an interactive article folks, so please share your Disney Moments in the comments section.

For those interested, my Disney Moment is when I unwrap the Mickey soap in the resort.
Weird, but true!
